About PRESQUE ISLE DOWNS..............Located in Summit Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
The racetrack will be constructed on a 272 acre site (approximately 58.4 acres of which will be dedicated to the public as open space). The Company broke ground in October, 2005.
Plans call for a state-of-the-art horse racing facility featuring racing as well as concerts, nightly entertainment, and fine and casual dining. The completed facility will contain a thoroughbred racetrack, a grandstand and clubhouse consisting of approximately 140,000 square feet, barns, a paddock, and related facilities for the horses, jockeys, and trainers, and approximately 1200 parking spaces.
