April 14-15, 2012 (2 DAYS/ 1 NIGHT)

Our tour departures begin early morning for our Nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C.     Our afternoon will be spent at the Arlington National Cemetery where you will have a chance to see the Tomb of the Unknowns, the Kennedy Graves (including that of Jackie Kennedy) or the Lee Mansion.  A stop will be made to visit a Smithsonian Museum of your choice and we’ll visit a monument or two before checking into our hotel.     Monuments will include the Lincoln, Korean, Vietnam, FDR Memorial, and the new World War II Memorial   Our overnight stay will afford us the opportunity to visit more of our Nation’s Capital on Sunday.     The cherry blossoms are a wonderful sight, surrounding the Tidal Basin., Although we can’t guarantee that you will see them,  other springtime blossoms will add to our tour.
